Acousmatics Field Report
Sharp, high pitched bursts of sound no more than a second each dot the the surrounding, like stars, they flicker and fade all around. As one ends another begins, blending into each other. A Scratching timbre, almost as if the sounds were attacking, only to shy away to another sound. A low grumble, like a drone increasing in volume only to fade away again as the sharp, high pitched bursts return once again. As another low grumbling sound grows louder it is this time accompanied by a collection of loud and evenly spaced bursts of sounds this is layered by another sound, similar in nature but at a lower pitch. Through it all there is a constant; a very soft, quiet sound, low in pitch and constantly maintaining a steady and heavy accent among the constant, changing every few minutes only in rhythm and vague distinction of pitch. Finally, as those sounds fade away and the first sounds start returning, one by one, there is a final loud and sudden sound, like a hollow thump.
